The Alpha's digits scraped along a rocky formation that jutted into a sandy clearing. The cold wind whipped at his visage, as if threatening to pluck every hair from Arno's frame. The brute's banner bristled in annoyance. "This winter has lasted too long." He grumbled, seeing small ice formations twirl in the currents of the ocean below.
Arno paused before leaping off a ledge, landing elegantly. Years of practice on this terrain had helped his agility skills. His tongue darted out, cleaning his maw before retracting, sliding across the razor enamels. Arno was getting tired of the solitude of these grounds, the fact that he was confined with no beings to interact with. He slid into an overgrown forest, ebony pelt beginning to mesh with all of the trees. Only time would tell if this pack would thrive.

With every step, her paws sank in the wet sand, only to once again emerge, lifting the sand with it, as well as her pawprints. The scent of wolves slowly growing in her muzzle, mixed with the salty sea smell that she was so used to. The wind aggressively shaking her scarlet pelt as her orbs switched from one corner to another, in hope she would finally find another canid.
This pack didn't seem big. It had a big territory, what made it harder for her to track any of the wolves. But she was determined to giver herself a new chance.
Suddenly something lifted from the air, quite far from the shore where she was standing. It was an ebony wolf, probably from the pack. The salty water hit her paws once more before she dashed from there, following the stranger.
Her movement being silenced by the sand, till she reached the rocky ground. Giving her rear legs a strong impulse, though slightly slipping, she throwed her body to the other side of the ledge, following the wolf's path.
Once into the forest, she stopped, trying to find the canid. "Hello?" she asked, out of nowhere, hoping it was still nearby.

Arno had been aware of the loner as soon as it had crossed the territory line. It was as if he had developed a sixth sense. The alpha's hackles raised, lowering himself into a defensive position, maw pulled back to reveal a large line of deadly incisors. Another cold breeze ripped at his pelt, sending an ocean spray up to douse the male.

He stood perfectly still, a menacing look in his eyes as adrenaline pumped through his bloodstream, giving him a moment of a high. He took one step forth, thick muscle rippling under all of the winter fluff. Arno inhaled deeply before speaking. "Who has entered Riptide Territory?" His mighty voice boomed, echoing off of the ledges. His steel grey lamps focusing on the silhouette of a Lone wolf that stood in front of him.

He was strong and showed dominancy in every movement, including the ivories he made sure to show. Andromeda lowered her ears slightly, pulling them back as she filled her lungs and lifted her head. She stopped with the right paw just in front of the left one, swinging her tail once before holding it aligned with her spine. "Who has entered Riptide Territory?" the brute inquired, his strong voice echoing through the surroundings. "The name is Andromeda, mister" she replied, slightly lowering her head in respect. "I'm here to join the Riptide pack" she added, firmly, demanding respect as well as he did.

Arno's gaze softened as he listened to the she-wolf speak. "Join the pack, huh?" The alpha questioned, a brow raising as his auds perked back up, standing back up in normal position. His tail made a swooping motion as he thought about the offer. It was a good thing that she had arrived so early into the pack's development. If Arno would have had an already full pack, he would most likely chase off any loner who decided to test their odds.
His deep orbs focused in on her frame, a thoughtful expression crossing his palette. "And what rank are we thinking?" Arno questioned, now circling the female as his eyes scanned her over and over.

Seeing that he gave a break in his authority expression, she released her ears, twitching them to his direction. "Join the pack, huh?" he questioned, raising a brow. She stood quiet, awaiting an answer as her gaze slid through his physical. He started to walk, circling her. She paired her legs, tail still lifted. "And what rank are we thinking?" he inquired. She held her gaze in his orbs, that were now studying her. It made her quite uncomfortable. Clearing her throat, Andromeda paced till his front, stopping there to make him stop as well. She paced closer, till her muzzle was right in front of his and sat down. "What rank would you give me?" she questioned. Actually, she had absolutely no idea what rank would suit her best. Maybe she was rather comfortable with anything he wanted her to. Besides that, letting him decide was quite fun. She locked her gaze in his eyes, waiting for his decision with a daring expression that she couldn't hold for herself.

Arno looked up, seeing her shift in position. "How do you feel about starting out as a hunter?" He said casually, noticing she looked to be a quicker type of build, good for running at high speed chases. An ear flicked forwards, waiting for her approval or disapproval on the input. His attention was caught by the rolling of the aqua sea, how it rammed into the coral covered boulders, causing a sea-mist. Arno couldn't imagine a day without the beauty. His lamps shifted back to the female, glimmering softly as he noticed her almost daring type of expression. Arno had to be honest, he enjoyed seeing that in a wolf. It let him know that they had quite some personality behind a pelt.

Her lips slightly pulled a smile "Sounds fine" she replied. Stretching her rear legs, the fae got up as her tail swinged to her right. "Well... I'll... explore the territory" she stated, passing through the male, intending to wait for the sundown in the beach. She was very proud of herself for finding a decent pack to live for. Maybe even more than that: she found a pack with a decent alpha. Well, at least that male seemed like the alpha. Suddenly she stopped walking, glancing back. I don't even know his name, she thought to herself, thinking about pacing back. But she decided to let the brute do whatever he was going to do before her arrival. She could get answers later.

Arno nodded, watching Andromeda turn and begin heading off. "Why don't I show you around. It can get rather confusing around here." The male offered, a slight friendly smile spreading across his features. "The name is Arno, by the way." He added, matching her pace as he walked forth, digits scraping the icy layer of earth. The alpha was beginning to grow concerned about the weather, he could feel a shift deep within his bones. This usually meant blizzard. Aspen pack was going to get the worst, as usual. He couldn't help to feel bad for those canines, always getting the worst of all disasters. His nape raised slowly, allowing his large cranium to loose some of the heavier snow that was beginning to fall.

Andromeda turned her head slightly as the brute suggested being her personal guide. She gave him a warm smile, lowering her speed for him to catch up. "The name is Arno, by the way" he added. She grinned, lifting her head to direct her words to him "So, mister Arno. Show me what your lands have to offer" she stated, with a daring tone, instinctively calling those lands his. Pacing beside him with a graceful and soft movement, she wondered how vast those lands where. The pack didn't seem too big, as she had only encountered the male till now. What happened there? Was that pack a new-born one? She had so many questions. But they would all have to wait. She kept the eye-to-eye glance, waiting for his reply.

Arno chuckled, turning his gaze to catch hers for a second before focusing on the path ahead. "Oh, I'm sure you will be impressed." He spoke calmly, a bit excited to be showing someone the lands instead of quickly passing through. He guided Andromeda through a thicket of trees, leading to more of a forest-type setting instead of the open sandy beaches. "I think I have something that you would enjoy." Arno spoke, using his memory to trace the paths he would use to arrive at the inclosed destination. There were many places that the alpha could take the new female, but Shipwreck port seemed like an important place, especially since you couldn't find one like it anywhere else.

She pulled her ears back, slightly, grinning at his excitement. She followed his lead, step by step getting out of the sandy ground to again feel the soft earth mixed with leaves under her paws. The redish she-wolf lifted her glance from the horizon to once again rest it in his eyes as the brute spoke about something she would enjoy. The corners of her mouth curled softly as she lowered her head in a nodding movement. Pacing by his side, the fae landed her attention in the surroundings, in an attempt to memorize the paths of her new home.
